Maria the (Vocals)” After a failed band, Jurran (Guitar)and I decided to create something we like. We both really liked the atmospheric part of Black Metal and created Mahnwache.
Ands the use of its names is it a protest/vigil?
” Mahnwache is for the living and the dead it’s a silent gathering to respect the beyond.

” It’s not a farewell but a welcome.
Music that is both raw and Atmospheric?
“We both love the melodic and clean aspect combined with the harsh guitars and screams. It’s like a life.
The darkness consuming the light?
‘’No, the light consuming the darkness.
You Upcoming EP Himmelsfarht Kommando and its dangerous mission? Is it a suicidal one?
‘’I think it’s more the aspect of honour in this story, the story to fight without turning back.
‘’It’s very different then our single Mahnwache. its way harsher and has more variation in the song that has more the raw Black Metal influences in it but with the beauty of synths and clean vocals.
’’I guess so, if no one listens and everything is turning bad there will be one option left and that would be violence.
Is your music extreme as in how much you put your emotions into it?
” No not really, if we like something we add things to make it more melodic and dramatic.
It represents a unique perspective on the world.
‘’I think the perspective of Mahnwache is peace, finding inner peace and accepting.
What inspired you to pursue extreme music and its importance to you?
‘’We like it. It gives a message with sounds.
